Stellar Snacks Animated Doodle Ad
Stop motion social media ad created for artisan pretzel company, Stellar Snacks.
PAIN POINTS
When Stellar Snacks approached us, they were on a massive growth for success. Originating as a complimentary snack on Southwest flights, they wanted to expand and cater to a larger audience.

With their goal of landing in grocery stores, mom-and-pop shops, and wholesale, they wanted to expand their reach through social media ads to increase brand visibility.

GOALS
I collaborated with Estipona Group on this ad for Stellar Snacks, an artisan pretzel company. Stellar Snacks prides itself on vegan ingredients, being family-owned, and artisan flavors. They also commission artists to design their bags.

Stellar Snacks' overarching goal was to create an ad to show people how their pretzels are different from others. They wanted people to know of their unique flavors and focus on being family-owned, vegan, and artist-friendly.

outcomes & results
• Resulted in high-performing analytics of 5,000+ impressions on Meta platforms within the first week, Stellar Snacks' best-performing ad.

STRATEGY & BRAINSTORMING
• Who it's for: families, women 15-25 years old and 40-65 years old, foodies, people on the go, vegans

• Where it will be used: social media (Instagram, Meta)

• Key brand words: family-owned, artisan, artful, creative, lighthearted

With this in mind,  I wanted to create an ad that showcased these strengths while staying on brand. Because they often include doodles on their packaging and boxes, I created a motion-stop animation ad of what it feels like to eat a Stellar Snacks pretzel.
DESIGN strategy
The video starts with someone reaching into the bag for a pretzel. The doodles follow her moves and begin to pop up around the pretzel and her mouth once she takes a bite.

"Wow," "yum," "onion," and "garlic" are words that pop up on the screen. There are also doodles of stars, hearts, and emojis around her as well.

The video ends with a stop motion of a photo of the bag and "family-owned," "garlic and onion goodness," "vegan," and "artful bags" moving from side to side.
